Work where you matter.A Brief OverviewProvides Athletic Republic® program services to regional athletes including evaluations, training, and documentation components, as assigned. Responsible to oversee and coordinate the delivery of the Athletic Republic® programs as well as assist with daily operations of the Avera Human Performance Center.What you will do
Demonstrates a working knowledge of various sports and athletic experience.
Assists with daily building operations (batting cages, golf, turf grooming, and basketball court preparations) as well as facility cleaning and front desk operations.
Assists with daily delivery of Athletic Republic® training program (program prescription, design and administration).
Spots and advises proper mechanics on the treadmills (running and hockey).
Establishes rapport and work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, physical therapist, athletic trainers) as necessary throughout athlete's training program.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, workshops, etc. Shares new knowledge with coworkers.
Participates in program development of the department.
Educates and advises athletes, coaches and community members on proper training program design.
Communicates effectively with athlete, family, coach and other inter-disciplinary team members regarding athlete's status, progress and needs.
Promotes Avera Sports Institute programs and services.

Bachelor's or 1-2 years related experience required and/or training in Athletic Republic® performance sports training program preferred.

Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach - National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Upon Hire
